Macrocilix maia is a moth in the Drepanidae family. It is found in India, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo.[1]
The wingspan is 37-45 mm. Adults have been recorded in May.[2]
The larvae feed on the leaves of Quercus variabilis.[3] They have a creamy body, marked with dark brown in a longitudinally reticulate manner. Some segments have a rufous suffusion.[4]
